Administering Hemp seed oil to pets such as dogs and cats
For humans, the most common method of ingestion is by dripping a few drops of Hemp seed oil under the tongue. This is usually not a successful method for pets. An alternative is to add a few drops to the food or a snack. Make sure that your pet consumes everything, because of course you want to be sure that your pet gets all the Hemp seed oil. Advice: use the Hemp seed oil at room temperature. Shake before use.
Experiences Hemp seed oil in pets
Since the amendments to the Medicines Act in 2012, we are no longer allowed to state what you can use hemp seed oil for on your dog, cat or other pet. Hemp seed oil is safe for pets. However, it is not recommended to administer Hemp seed during pregnancy and lactation. When in doubt about the use of Hemp seed, for example giving hemp seed oil to the dog in combination with medication, consult your vet.
